Francis Byrne is the author of nine novels, and the children's Kingdom of Doom Trilogy. Born in Folkestone, Kent he wrote his first novel at eighteen and writes across several genres. He has been published in print and is now a proud indie writer. A lover of words, be it fiction, articles, essays or poetry, he cites his early inspirations as Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl. Poetry is a strong passion, and amongst the many greats, he enjoys Emily Dickinson, Maya Angelou and the Brontë sisters.
His stories often reflect his love for life, the fears he has for our planet and the hope he holds that the right people are out there somewhere to save us from ourselves.
